We keenly took over the ownership of Drysdale House in mid-2018 after a few years as regular visitors to the area, often passing by the house commenting "That's a charming little house... I wonder what it's like inside."
Little did we know it would come on the market just as we were considering our next life challenge.
After living and working in a range of locations including the Hunter Valley of NSW, in Sydney and across the Northern Beaches of Sydney, we decided that the beautiful Bellarine Peninsula offers so much to enhance one's well-being... space, water, vineyards, and it lacks those elements we no longer need in our lives... congestion, queues and noise.
To live in an historic house is a delight. One cannot ignore the charm and craftsmanship of a previous time and wonder as the stories of those who have lived within its walls over 120 years.
The property is perfectly set up for guests with the original house providing accommodation for guests enabling them their own entrance and space. Our family life can also carry on "out the back in the added-on bits" allowing both groups privacy and space.
We look forward to welcoming our guests to Drysdale House, Cathie and Ian
